Add Your Blog/Website to YouTube

1. To get to the video posting setting page log into YouTube and click on My Account at the top of YouTube.
2. Scroll down to the Account Setting section of the My Account page and click on Video Posting Settings.
3. From the Video Posting Settings page, you can add a link to your blog or website so that you can add videos to your site with just a few clicks.
4. Click on the button that says Add Blog/Site to get started.

Choose Your Blog or Website to Add to YouTube

Which of your blogs or websites do you want to add videos to? Choose one and let's get started adding it to YouTube so you can add videos quicker and easier.

1. From this page, you are going to choose your blog service from the drop-down menu. Currently, YouTube can add blogs that are hosted on Blogger, BlogSpot, WordPress, LiveJournal, ​and Friendster. Choose one of these from the drop-down box where it says Blog Service.
2. Enter the required information for the blog or site you chose. They all need something different depending on what format that site used for login. Enter the information the same way you would if you were logging into that particular site.
   1. Blogger - Username and password
   2. Blogger Beta - Email address and password
   3. LiveJournal - Username and password
   4. Friendster - Email address and password
   5. WordPress.com - Username and password
   6. WordPress Self Hosted - Username, password, API URL and API key
3. Click on the Add Blog button when you are finished.

Add Blog to YouTube

You chose which blog or website you wanted to add to your YouTube account so now you can add it.

1. It may take a few seconds for your blog or website name to show up, be patient. When it does you will see it before you on the page.
2. Put a check in the little check mark box in front of it.
3. Click Add Selected Blogs.

Edit Video Posting Settings on YouTube

Add another blog or website to YouTube or edit the posting settings of the blog or websites you have already added.

You have successfully added your blog or website to YouTube. You can now add another blog or website to YouTube or change the settings of the blogs and websites you have already added from this page. If you decide you don't want that blog or website linked to YouTube anymore you can delete it from here too.

Choose a YouTube Video to Add to Your Blog or Website

After you have added a link to your blog or website from your YouTube account settings you can add a video to your blog or Web site in just a few clicks.

The first thing you need to do is choose a video from YouTube that you want to add to your blog or website. This is made easy by the way YouTube has their videos organized and by the search options YouTube has to offer you.

Choose from categories such as Top Rated, Most Linked, Added This Week. Or from more specific categories like Comedy, Music, Sports, Pets, and Animals.

If you are looking for something specific you can use the search bar at the top of the page.

When you find something you like click on the picture or the link to be taken to the page where you can watch the video.

Link to Add YouTube Videos to Your Blog or Website

Right under where the video is playing you will see some links that let you do different things with the video. You can save it to your favorites, add it to a group, share it with someone or post the video.

Click on Post Video to start adding the YouTube video you chose to your blog or website.

Post a YouTube Video to Your Blog or Website

Now it's time to add the YouTube video you chose to the blog or website you added to your YouTube settings.

1. Choose the blog or website you want the video added to from the drop-down menu.
2. Change the title of the video to the way you want it to show on your blog or website.
3. Add a description of the video or whatever you want to add. This might show up on your blog or website with the video, it didn't show up on mine, though.
4. Click the Post to Blog button when you have finished.
5. You will get a little message telling you that the video will show up on your blog or website soon.
6. Give it a few minutes. Check your blog or website. It should be there. Have fun adding videos!
